Practical Application

Advice on how to weave the Yamas and Niyamas into your yoga classes

Hi! I'm Julie Pasqual

I study regularly at the Iyengar Institute, and aim to combine the movement of a vinyasa class with the precision of Iyengar Yoga, while injecting the spiritual teachings of Bhakti Yoga into my classes. This is where my love for yoga philosophy is nurtured. I’m a 500 ERYT, completing my 200 Hour with Bright Spirit Yoga Teacher Training and 300 Hour at Yogamaya in NYC.

I have a strong passion for alignment, intelligent sequencing, and yoga philosophy, studying the ancient texts with the teachers from NYC’s Bhakti Center, as well as attending regular trips to India to visit holy sites to study the teachings at their source. I am also an initiated student of HH Dhanudhara Swami in the Gaudiya Vaisnav lineage of Bhakti Yoga, and love to relish in sharing these teachings with my students. I hope you love the course as much as I do!
